It's not the 80s

College tuition has skyrocketed 1,200% since 1980. And it’s not because the product has gotten better or kids are learning more. In fact, at most colleges, the reverse is true.

Enrollment is rigged

I couldn’t believe how colleges use big data to manipulate their enrollments. If you follow the standard advice of most college counselors, you could get duped.

Student loans: a scam

45% of adults with student loan debt say that college was NOT worth it. Student loans are not forgiven. They ruin people’s lives and prevent them from following their dreams.

No one-size-fits all solution works

We are neutral on the question of whether it makes sense to go to college. We believe every person is on an individual journey to fulfill his or her higher purpose. For some, college is the best path. For others, investing the $100,000 – $250,000 they would have paid for college to start a business makes more sense. And some people need a little more time to figure out what their gifts, talents, and soul’s calling is.

The point is: there is no one-size-fits-all path for designing a life that works.

Most of the college ranking and financial aid websites get their revenue from the higher ed institutions (colleges and universities) and banks. They pretend to be unbiased but are really marketing engines for these institutions.

We don’t take any funding from institutions. Our only agenda is that you and your children don’t find yourselves swimming in debt that will never be forgiven and that you cannot pay.
